Dr. Dall is a retired orthopedic spine surgeon who was involved in conservatively and surgically treating people suffering from the chronic pain of dysfunctional sacroiliac joints for three decades.
He created two surgical procedures to address the multiple problems
caused by this joint, which require varying amounts of technical ability from simple minimally invasive sacroiliac joint fusions to more advanced open reconstructive salvage procedures needed after other surgeries on this joint have failed. He has published multiple papers on his surgical procedures and patient's long-term outcomes as well as bench research on this joint utilizing cadavers.
A significant amount of his work with the sacroiliac joint has been presented at national and international meetings. He continues to publish articles on this subject as well as books.
Dr. Dall was recently granted a Lifetime Achievement Award for his work on the sacroiliac joint by the international organization the Sacroiliac Joint Medical Education Group (SIMEG). He currently is an Associate Clinical Professor Emeritus at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker School of Medicine in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
